6-8 weeks before the date of your wedding a Pinkgloss makeup artist & stylist will visit you at a pre-arranged date to have a consultation about the look you require for your wedding day. If you have found an image you like, be it a photograph or magazine picture this is a great start for the makeup artist & stylist to understand what you are looking to achieve from the trial session. Colours of the bride's dress, bridesmaid dresses, flower's if known at this time will be a help.
The trial makeup normally takes an hour for the Bride and an extra 30 minutes per person thereafter to complete. Please allow 1-2 hours for your hair trial and 30 minutes per person thereafter to complete. This is the time to try out different looks, colours and style of hair & makeup to ensure you are fully agreeable with the makeup artist & stylist as to what the final look is going to be on your wedding day.
When making a booking with Pinkgloss you will need to secure your wedding date by sending a deposit (as quoted individually) and a completed booking form. This is a non-refundable deposit as other bookings will be turned away if the wedding date has been secured with a deposit.
After completion of a successful trial makeup an invoice will be sent to the client showing the balance due on their account (total minus deposit paid) including travel expenses. The total has to be received by Pinkgloss in advance of the wedding day (cleared funds) as it makes the whole event more relaxed.
* Please note - if the client doesn't go ahead with the booking for the day the remaining monies due would be half the quoted travel expenses. The deposit will cover the cost of a trial hair & makeup. An invoice will be sent for the payment of the travel expenses.
